The rivers have been flowing rapidly this week in South Wales providing some amazing conditions to get involved in canyoning. The canyoning activity is based in the Brecon Beacons near Cardiff and Swansea, and has seen some rainfall recently, allowing the rivers to pick up and flow faster. This makes the gorge walking activity even better as the heightened river allows a new spectrum of activities to be engaged with. It allows us to use the higher jumps which are unusable when the river is to low, and also provides an extra challenge when attempting to navigating through the river. It is a great time to engage in all that the South Wales waterfall region has to offer.
However, canyoning is not the only activity that provides a sense of adventure and excitement. All activities that we offer induce these feelings, but in different and unique ways. Activities such as surfing and kayaking provide you with equipment used to tame the sea and use it to your advantage, providing you with an amazing activity in which you use the power of the waves, and ride them into shore.
Coasteering also pits you against the power of the sea, however in this activity the only equipment you have is your wet suit, buoyancy aid and helmet. This activity, which is located at Ogmore-By-Sea ,puts you at the mercy of the sea this time but with our guidance you will be able to enjoy the biggest jumps South Wales has to offer, and go into cave systems along the coastline, which is one of the best experiences I've ever had.
All activities are perfect for a spectrum of people, ranging from scout groups to stag and hen weekends.
