Where do we start, South Wales is famous for its coast, rivers, mountains, hills, surf, beaches, history, heritage you name it we have it all here in beautiful South Wales. I am origionally from Walsall in the Midlands in England, this is a place not really know for its beautiful secenery, but its heart was in its people.
I will start just over the border in Newport and Risca area, we start off with Caerleon and the ancient Roman Buildings and settlements in the area, also the area has several rivers flowing through its veins into the bristol channel. It also has world class mountain bike facilities in Cym Carn, in the rolling hills at the base of the mountains.
We then head up into Cardiff which has a abundance of facilities and Historical buildings and areas, we can start with Cardiff Castle in the center and Coopers field a must for all visitors to the area. We can then head off into the docks area, famous for its industrial history but now a thriving hub for accomodation, festivals, stag and hen parties, restaurants, bars, theatre, clubs, marine quarters, sailing, Ice Skating, Swimming, it even boasts a work class white water and surf center within the marine quarters.
Cardiff has exeptional faciltiies and is becoming a very popular venue for Stag Weekends, Hen Parties, Youth Groups, Events, Festivals, Regattors, exhibitions, world heritage and the center of the welsh community and Economy There are fantastic facilities accross the area but its real draw lies in its natural beauty........... to be continued
