OUTDOOR ACTIVITY CONDITIONS REPORT UPDATE 04TH JANUARY 2020 - Weather is still looking dry for the next few days with the odd spells of rain Monday, Tuesday and Thursday but not looking to heavy through the South Wales region. The river levels are on .40 meters at the moment on the river Mellte and the gorge walking, gorge scrambling and Canyoning activities are all looking perfect at the moment. The only issue maybe if the rivers go beyond the .6 meter level which could affect the Canyoning adversely on the top Clyn Gwyn Waterfalls. Otherwise the Gorge activities on the lower Sychryd and Mellte should be at the perfect levels. The wind is picking up to 20 - 40 mph Westerly and Southerly which will be affecting the sea conditions and subsequently the coasteering conditions. There are large swells and surf for the next few days so coasteering is definitely out of the question into next week. There is no real gap in the sea conditions so the best place to coasteer would be over to West Wales.
