Levels at the moment are reading .51 meters and are predicted to getting higher with continued rain throughout the week. Gorge walking and gorge scrambling events are suitable at the moment but will be dependant on the levels of the rivers especially with the continued rain. Canyoning may not be suitable but gorge walking and scrambling levels are looking suitable for the next few days. All Areas around Cardiff / Brecon Beacons / Swansea / Bridgend / Carmarthen will be affected. Conditions for gorge walking , gorge scrambling , Canyoning are suitable across South Wales and the surrounding region. River levels must be assessed constantly to make sure there are safe water levels in the region for the events. Coasteering Cardiff, Swansea, Porthcawl, South Wales predicted weekly report 31st October 2022 - Coasteering conditions are not looking good at the moment with very high winds and big swells throughout the South Wales region especially on the coastlines around Ogmore by Sea, Portrhcawl, Aberavon. Conditions will not be suitable for the next few days. Conditions will have to be monitored to asses the suitable levels for the coasteering conditions. All sites are affected close to Cardiff, Swansea, Newport, Carmarthenshire, Ogmore by Sea. The sea conditions will be suitable mainly 2 - 3 hours before the high tide and 1 hour after high tide.
