The rivers are as low as we have ever seen them and we are desperate for rain at the moment. Hopefully there will be a beak in the hot dry weather and there will be rain this week. Please take extra caution in the gorge and Canyon areas as they are in hazardous Mountainous terrains and should be entered with preparation and full understanding of the environment. All canyoning, gorge scrambling and gorge walking events are acceptable at the present moment and should be suitable for the next few days. All gorge walking, gorge scrambling, Canyoning activities are suitable across the Brecon Beacons waterfalls region close to Cardiff, Swansea, Bridgend, Porthcawl, Carmarthen and across South Wales . River levels must be assessed constantly to make sure there are safe water levels in the region for the events. Coasteering Cardiff, Swansea, Porthcawl, South Wales predicted weekly report 15th August 2022 - The conditions for coasteering are looking good for the next few days with low to moderate winds and small swells. The conditions will change from Friday onwards when the wind and the swell will increase to effect the safety of the event. Sea temperature is also very good across the region. All sites are affected close to Cardiff, Swansea, Newport, Carmarthenshire, Ogmore by Sea. The sea conditions will be suitable mainly 2 - 3 hours before the high tide and 1 hour after high tide.
