There will be high rainfall on Wednesday and Friday and river levels will rise. All Canyoning, Gorge Scrambling, Gorge walking events are suitable for the next few days. There has been heavy rain over the weekend and past days but has eased and all rivers are suitable and accessible. As of today all gorge activities are suitable and river levels acceptable. Issues would relate to river levels, debris, trees, boulders, man made items, caution should be taken at all times. All gorge walking, gorge scrambling, Canyoning events are suitable at the moment. There are higher numbers of tourists on the site at present and caution must to taken for all users on site. Extra caution must be taken to debris in the river causing hazards. River levels must be assessed constantly to make sure there are safe water levels in the region for the events. Coasteering Cardiff, Swansea, Porthcawl, South Wales predicted weekly report 09.10.2023 - Fantastic swell and surf this week but unfortunately not good coasteering. There may be a break in the surf towards the weekend especially on Sunday. The only suitable conditions may be found in West wales. Caution must be taken and tides, winds, swells, sea conditions checked daily. They may be a chance of coasteering conditions being suitable by the end of the week but need to keep a constant check on the situation. Conditions may be better in West Wales in sheltered areas. The sea conditions will only be suitable mainly 2 - 3 hours before the high tide and 1 hour after high tide.
