Gorge Walking, Gorge Scrambling, Canyoning South Wales, Cardiff, Swansea, Brecon Beacons Conditions Report 27th September 2021 -Canyoning, gorge scrambling and gorge walking events will all be affected by the rainfall over the next few days. There has been haevy rain over the last day and night and the rivers have started to swell. The rivers have been very low over several weeks and the land has been baked solid with the dry weather. With the heavier rainfall over the next few days will rise the rivers rapidly and the possibility of Canyoning not being suitable over the days with heavier rain and the rapid rise in the rivers. The gaps in the rainfall may allow gorgewalking and gorge scrambling however river levels need to be monitored constantly. At the moment the better day looks like Wednesday when the rain is holding and the rivers will start to settle. The heavier rain through the following days may swell the rivers to a level unsuitable for all gorge events especially the sites close to Swansea, Cardiff, Brecon Beacons. Coasteering Cardiff, Swansea, Porthcawl, South Wales predicted weekly report 27th September 2021 - Coasteering close to Cardiff, Swansea, Porthcawl, Ogmore by sea is not looking good over the next few days. The weather is looking very turbulent with high winds and big swells throughout the region. The swell and onshore winds will affect the entrance and exits from the water on all sites. The wind will also affect the safety standing on the cliff ledges before accessing the sites.
