GORGE WALKING, CANYONING, GORGE SCRAMBLING CARDIFF AND SWANSEA PREDICTED REPORT - Perfect conditions for gorge walking, gorge scrambling and Canyoning events throughout the Brecon Beacons Waterfalls region. River levels are perfect at .32 meters with a steady flow of water in both Mellte and Sychryd rivers. The land is still quite wet and giving a good flow of water. Dry weather and clear skies are also allowing the rivers to settle and give the best conditions for the gorge events. Rivers should drop to the usual levels for the time of year around .25 - .3 meters for the next week. There is debris in the rivers at the moment especially after the recent heavy rainfall after a period of dry weather. Rivers are still cold so full protection should be worn including Wetsuits, Buoyancy Aids, Helmets, Trainers, walking boots, wellingtons, under layers and thermals.
WIND - Highest winds will be on Thursday with 20mph South Westerlies and Saturday with 20mph Easterlies. The rest of the week is generally calmer with winds below 10mph in all directions. Winds are from different directions through the week, North, South, East and West.
SEA STATE and SWELL - Thursday and Saturday will see the rougher sea conditions with the roughest day on Thursday. The rest of the week should see calm sea conditions with moderate swells and low winds.

COASTEERING CARDIFF, SWANSEA, PORTHCAWL, CARMARTHEN PREDICTED WEEKLY REPORT - coasteering is back, the swell is dropping off and the winds are light. Sheltered areas should be good throughout the week except for Thursday. More exposed areas such as Ogmore By Sea should be working on Saturday and Monday with lower winds and less swells. The tides are moderate from 8.26 meters and they are working well inshore. Need to check the tides, swells and wind through the week and constantly check the conditions in the area.
OUTDOOR ADVENTURE ACTIVITIES CARDIFF, SWANSEA, PORTHCAWL, BRECON BEACONS, SOUTH WALES REPORT SUMMARY - Looking great conditions for outdoor activities this week, Gorge walking, Gorge Scrambling and Canyoning are all working perfectly this week in the Brecon Beacons Waterfalls. Also Coasteering is back in action with good conditions in protected areas and certain days on the open areas. We have groups gorge walking, canyoning and coasteering this week with Naill and his friends Surfing in Porthcawl on their stag weekend in Cardiff. Hannah and the girls will be on their Hen weekend and Rob also on his stag weekend in cardiff City Center Canyoning in the Brecon Beacons.
OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES CONDITIONS REPORT UPDATE 28TH AUGUST 2019 - There has been a definite change in the weather, the wind will be increasing steadily into the weekend and the rain is coming in across the whole of the South Wales region to cover South Wales, Cardiff, Swansea, Brecon Beacons. Coasteering definitely looks less possible with the higher winds and bigger swells especially on the weekend also will be keeping a close eye on the water levels in the gorge especially on the Scychryd and Mellte rivers as the rain increases. Rivers are in low flow at the moment at .25 meters but that will change with the incoming rain especially on the weekend. Possibly big river levels and flows today and into the weekend. We have gorge walking, gorge scrambling and Canyoning on Saturday so will be checking levels constantly to assess safe working conditions.
