GORGE WALKING, CANYONING, GORGE SCRAMBLING CARDIFF AND SWANSEA PREDICTED REPORT - Definitely lower rivers this week but still a good flow of water. The recent wet weather has saturated into the group in the Brecon Beacons and we have had constant spells of rain to add to the flow. At present the rivers are lower on .3 meters so all gorge walking, gorge scrambling and canyoning activities are acceptable to continue with the obvious caution of cold water, river and land debris, slips, trips and falls. The conditions on both the Mellte and the Sychryd rivers in the Brecon Beacon National parks are perfect for the events. The weather is changing for Sunday with a weather warning so we will keep updated.
