WEATHER - This week is a little more settles with dryer periods and lighter winds on most days. Some days may seem colder and fresher due to the Easterly winds . Temperatures are around the 13 degree level but feeling fresher on Sunday through to Thursday due to the wind directly. The stormier weather will be on Friday with high 35 mph winds from the West, winds will then vary from West to East to South, so constant monitoring will be required. GORGE WALKING, CANYONING, GORGE SCRAMBLING CARDIFF AND SWANSEA PREDICTED REPORT - River levels on the Mellte river are still high at .63 meters today and the rain will continue to raise the levels more through the next few hours. Canyoning is looking unsuitable until next week but gorge walking and gorge scrambling are looking good at the moment even with the higher river levels. All events should be running perfectly later in the week as the river levels drop accross the region.
WIND - The highest wind will be today up to 35 mph Westerly, after the day the wind will drop to a calmer level with wind speeds around the 15mph level and from all directions with winds mainly coming from the East and North East next week.
SEA STATE and SWELL - Friday will sea the stormier sea state conditions with high winds and big swells. Winds will then be dropping to a calmer level and the swell drops off considerably. The calmest sea days will be Wednesday and Tuesday next week, with lighter winds and very small swell.
