WEATHER - This week again is very Autumnal with high winds and rain through the week. RIVER LEVEL and TEMPERATURE - .48 meters high and 6 Degrees (http://rloi.naturalresources.wales/ViewDetails?station=4121)
EXPECTED RIVER LEVEL OVER NEXT 72 HOURS - .48 meters - .60 meters
GORGE WALKING, CANYONING, GORGE SCRAMBLING CARDIFF AND SWANSEA PREDICTED REPORT - Higher river levels at the moment with a solid .48 meters on the Mellte river and light rain through the week. Levels should be high through the week but still good for Gorge Walking and Gorge Scrambling for most days. Canyoning however may be in doubt due top the high river levels and the continuous rain through the week. October into November have been very wet and volatile weeks in the region bringing high levels of rain and wind. The rivers have changed with high movement of rocks, trees, vegetation, so high caution on all gorge areas must be taken.
WIND - Again changeable is the word for this week, the wind will be strong and gusty especially on the weekend up to 30 mph. The rest of the week will also see high winds into the mid 20's. The direction is definitely unpredictable with winds coming in from all directions as we sit in the low pressure system. Saturday will have 30mph Southerlies and Sunday 30 mph Northerlies all in 24 hours.
SEA STATE and SWELL - Generally big swells through the week and high winds. The days of Westerly and Southerly winds - Thursday, Saturday, Monday and Tuesday will see the rougher seas with the swell and the winds creating stormy conditions. The other days will still have high winds but calmer inshore sea states due to the direction of the wind. Swells however will still be high with rough onshore conditions.

Cannot see a day that would be suitable and we will run updates through the week to assess any changes to the conditions.
OUTDOOR ADVENTURE ACTIVITIES UPDATE 07th NOVEMBER 2019 - Another tempestuous week of wind, swell and weather, the rivers are looking suitable for gorge walking and gorge scrambling but uncertain for Canyoning on the higher regions of the Mellte river.
