Gorge Walking, Gorge Scrambling, Canyoning South Wales, Cardiff, Swansea, Brecon Beacons Conditions Report 04th December 2021 - Rivers in the South Wales region close to Cardiff, Swansea, Brecon Beacons are running moderately at the moment showing a .426 meter level on the Mellte river. The forecast is dry for the next couple of days and Gorge walking, gorge scrambling and canyoning will have the perfect conditions on all sites. The waterfalls will be in full flow as well as the rapids and the plunge pools. The weather is due to change on Monday and Tuesday with rainfall and heavier rainfall on the Tuesday. This may swell the rivers to a point where canyoning firstly will become unsuitable and gorge walking and gorge scrambling possible unsuitable if rivers swell to above the safe levels.
