We're into the second week of September and there are many activities to do in Cardiff and Swansea this month for both stag and hen parties. In order to be prepared or this we have been training at Newton beach, South Wales, so that were updated on all safety skills and ready to take people on new adventures. Training with the jet ski allowed us to develop new ways to deal with serious injuries while coasteering such as dealing with spinal problems.
With these updated skills we're ready for the rest of the season. We have an upcoming gorge walk in South Wales on Saturday. Going to the top of the Mellte for this one which means bigger jumps but harder more challenging conditions, the river is just as cold though. Before canyoning we have a surfing and kayaking class to instruct in Porthcawl.
The stag and hen weekends keep piling up as many more people wish to experience the adventures of Wales before they tie the knot in the forms of coasteering and canyoning. It also gives them a welcome break between the bouts of heavy alcohol consumption that seems to dominate their weekends.
On another note throughout this season we have had many youth groups and hope to have many more to participate in our Cardiff activities. The scouts seem to enjoy the adventure that is provided in the South Wales waterfalls area, it allows them to build teamwork and cooperation as well as enjoy the adventure activity itself.
