Today it has been announced that climate change damage is causing the earth to react in a more increasingly volatile way, mother nature really i'snt one to be messed with, the more we take and take the more harm we are causing to this amazing planet. We are taking fossil fuels, reducing the amount of the forestry, everyone has a car, everyone seems to fly. Rain forest are depleted, coal and oil extracted, landfills grow bigger and bigger. The earth simply cannot sustain such abuse.
So who does she react, floods, droughts, crop depletion, poor harvests, high seas, tsunami's, earth quakes, sink holes, acid rain, ferocious storms, she really is someone you dont want to get on the wrong side of. yet day to day we kill our plannet, and what for a faster car, a trip we didnt need, an obese waistline, a log cabin , a new tv.
I have had the privelage to work in the sea and the mountains for many years and it has given me everything possible, the best memories, amazing livelyhood, air I breath, food, she is a great provider. We need to wake up to what our earth is telling us, we need to change, she can change in an instant, the dinosaurs are testament to that, she dosen't care for us, she'll be better off when were gone.
On the weekend Peter and a group of his friends were with us to witness the beauty of the wilds and the mountains on their Stag Weekend in Cardiff. We took them Gorge Scrambling in the brecon Beacons, the waterfalls were truly amazing, showing their awesome power and might. Over the year we will take hundreds of people into the mountains and the sea's canyoning, gorge walking, coasteering, surfing, kayaking and hopefully we can teach the beauty of the planet we live on, as well as having a great time with it.
