Canyoning, Gorge Walking and Gorge Scrambling near Cardiff and Swansea in South Wales: The sun is blazing in South Wales this week, bringing the river levels lower and increasing the size of the jumps. The beautiful serenity of the area in the sun creates a great atmosphere to do the canyoning activity in. The water is still very cold however, so a neoprene wet suit, Kevlar helmet and PVC foam buoyancy aid is required.
Coasteering near Cardiff and in Swansea: Friday, Saturday and Wednesday are looking good for coasteering, however the wind conditions on Friday and Saturday are picking up so close monitoring of this is required for the safety of the activity. The swell is going above 3ft for the rest of the week however which makes the activity to dangerous to run.
Surfing and Surf Kayaking in the South Wales region: The swell is relatively low for many days in the week; however some are reaching 2-4ft which is perfect for those learning to surf. The wind conditions need to be monitored in order to see how the surf will be on individual days so head on over to magicseaweed to keep an eye on these.
Activities and Events for the next week: On Saturday we have a Stag Group from west England coming to enjoy what south wales has to offer. They will be able to enjoy the canyoning activity in (relative) warmth.
