Gorge Walking, Gorge Scrambling, Canyoning near Cardiff, Swansea and South Wales are looking better this weekend with more rainfall throughout the week and over the weekend. The rivers are higher and running more freely and the waterfalls are also flowing. Must take caution as the ground is baked and may lead to water flooding into the rivers. Overall though all areas should be working and flowing smoothly with acceptable levels for the Sychryd and the Mellte rivers. We are entertaining Stag and Hen groups in the region over the weekend Gorge Walking on the Sychryd and Caznyoning in the Mellte.
Coasteering and wild swimming in South Wales and accross the region are looking OK for today in Ogmore near Cardiff and Caswell near Swansea but only on the height of the tide around 4 - 6pm this evening. The swell is low and the wind will possibly be offshore so good conditions all round. The rest of the week is more uncertain with high winds and Swell accross the South Wales area. This may make the activitiy to dangerous for entry and exit into and onto the Coasteering sites.
Surfing and Surf Kayaking for the rest of the week and over the bank hoilday is looking OK depending on the wind and tide. There is swell in all areas including Porthcawl, Aberavon and Swansea but there is also variable winds which may effect the quality of the waves.
This weekend we are entertaining James and Jon on there Stag weekends in Cardiff, they both will be with us on the weekend Canyoning and Gorge Walking. We also have Jess and her group with us on Sunday for a day out in the mountains.
