Gorge Walking, Gorge Scrambling, Canyoning near Cardiff, Swansea and South Wales is looking kind of dry at the moment we really need more Rain in the mountains, the plunge pools and jumps are still accessible but the rivers are very low so the events are do able but without the dramatics of the flooded waterfalls and flowing rivers. The land is also baked hard so watch out for any heavy rainfall this may cause the rivers to flash through with water which could be dangerous.
Coasteering and wild swimming in South Wales and accross the region is all about the wind and the swell and we have alot of wind and swell next week, so not looking the best event, may clear up towards the end of next week. The best option may be muslade bay or Caswell Bay in Swansea as they are more protected than the beaches by Cardiff, the best time will also be around the high tide to make sure there is sufficient water for the activitiy.
Surfing and Surf Kayaking are both looking good depending on the beaches you use, there is alot of swell around at the moment in the area but the better beaches will be the protected ones such as Coney in Porthcawl, Caswell in Swansea and Langland in Swansea. They should be the better options but if the wind drops all the beaches should be working especially mid week.
We are full this weekend with Stag weekend parties in Cardiff, military groups and Hen Parties in Swansea with events across the board, conditions are looking good so everything is full steam ahead.
