Gorge Walking, Gorge Scrambling, Canyoning near Cardiff, Swansea and South Wales: The weather has been fantastic this week with rain to start the whole event, so the Gorges and the waterfalls are looking good for all activities in the mountains. The water will be flowing to safe levels in the Mellte and the Sychryd for the next few days. Hopefully we will get rainfall over the next coming days to keep the river levels up to a good flow rate. there should be no debris in the gorges due to teh lack of heavy rain.
Coasteering near Cardiff, Swansea in South Wales - This event could be good on the weekend from Sunday onwards, Saturday is a definite NO!! big winds and BIG swells on Saturday but Sunday is looking perfect, light winds and good swell through the beginning of the week. The tides are mornings and late afternoons and at a good height and the cliff faces are clear of debris and hazards. Ogmore by Sea near Cardiff, Caswell Bay in Swansea and Muslade bay will be the better options
Surfing and Surf Kayaking are looking good for Friday and Saturday in Some areas accross the South Wales Region, there is a big swell but also big winds coming from the West, the better beaches in the area will be the ones protected from the westerly winds such as Caswell bay in Swansea and Coneu Beach in Porthcawl. Keep checking on Wind Guru and Magic Seaweed for constant updates on wind tide and swell conditions.
Events and Activities - We have a absolute fun packed events weekend from Friday onwards, firstly we have Dee and the Girls on their Hen Party in Cardiff with us for their Beach activity day which will include Surfing, Rafting, Paddle Boarding, Rafting and beach events. Then we have Helen and the Girls on the Gorge Walking activity with Dyfed and Jon on the Sychryd Gorge in the Brecon Beacons.
