Canyoning, Gorge Walking and Gorge Scrambling Events near Cardiff and Swansea in South Wales are looking very good for the weekend, we have had rainfall through the week with dry patches creating the perfect conditions. The land is pretty saturated so the river flow is constant and even throughout the waterfalls and Gorge Regions especially in Pontneathvaughn on the Mellte and Sychryd Gorges. The weather forecast is Dry for the next couple of Days and The river level at Pontneddfechan is 0.33 metres. This gives us the perfect river level for the Mellte River.
We are taking a Stag Group on the Mellte Gorge for their Gorge Walking Event, they will be with us on the afternoon for the Gorge Scrambling session. There instructors will be Lee Garbett and Greg Brown for the event and all will be wearing Wet suits, Buoyancy Aids and Helmets. After finishing they will be heading off into Cardiff City Centre for there Stag weekend.
Coasteering near Cardiff and Swansea again is not looking good the swell is Big and the tides are at the wrong times, tide times are at 7am and 7pm so unless your very early or in the dark you have no chance. The Swell is also to big for Coasteering, so get your surf board and head for the waves.
Surfing and Sea Kayaking near Cardiff and Swansea in South Wales are looking Good the Swell is Big and hopefully the wind is dying down, the only problem will be the tide, the Surf will be better first thing in the morning or later in the afternoon, the swell is continuous over the weekend so keep checking and look for protected beach's like Coney in Porthcawl and Langland in Swansea.
