Gorge Walking, Gorge Scrambling and Canyoning conditions are looking perfect at the moment, river levels are at there optimal level for all activities in the waterfalls gorge region of pontneathvaughn in South Wales. However be careful with the recent high winds and storms across the South Wales region there may be tree debris in the rivers and Gorge areas, there is also rain fall predicted over the next few days, the land is already saturated with rain so this could add to the river levels over the next couple of days.
The waterfalls will be in full flow and the rainfall driving the rivers so the scenery and event in South Wales will be exeptional but also extreme, only attend the activity with trained guides or leaders for safe passage and safety on the event and any activity in the mountain regions.
GORGE WALKING ACTIVITY UPDATE 25.02.2017
High rainfall is expected in the mountains region in South Wales today and the land is saturated with water, be carefull of rapid rising rivers and river debris caused by recent storms.
One word needed NO!! There has been a huge swell with the recent storms and we will see the after math of the storms for the next few days, Coasteering in South Wales including Swansea and Cardiff areas are definately out.
Our advise is to get your surf board out, the waves are going to be pretty epic over the next few days, so wax your board and get in the water.
COASTEERING ACTIVITY UPDATE 25.02.2017
Surf is huge today and high winds, there is no possibility of coasteering along the South Wales peninsular with all sites from Cardiff to Stackpole dangers and unpredictable.
As mentioned in the coasteering section, there is plenty of surf around at the moment but there is also plenty of wind over the next few days so picking your spot will be essential for a good surf session, Caswell, Langland in Swansea and Coney and the point in Porthcawl should all be looking good, the nearest option for Cardiff will be Southerndown or possibly the more protected beaches in Porthcawl
As mentioned through the report we will be in the rivers over the next few days will our usual Stag groups and Hen Parties all looking to maximise there time on there events in Cardiff and South Wales. Tom from reading and Andy from Slough are both on stag weekends in Cardiff and will with us Gorge Walking and Canyoning over the weekend. Our season is now back in full swing welcoming Stag groups, Hen Parties, Youth Groups, companies, individuals in fact anyone with a sense of fun and adventure to South Wales
