Rivers are quite high at the moment at .4 meters and rain coming in later should average around .6 meters through the next few days. Gorge walking and Canyoning sites close to Cardiff, Swansea, Neath, Porthcawl in South Wales will have the better conditions, need to keep an eye on the rainfall especially over the next few days.

SEA STATE AND SWELL - The Channel will get varied conditions with varying winds coming in from the East, North and West. Strong Easterlies will blow out Easterly beaches but Westerly beaches will be protected and there is alot of swell around this week from 2ft to 8 ft with consistent swell and surf throughout the regions and beaches close to Cardiff, Porthcawl, Southerdown and Swansea. Again unfortunately no great possibility of coasteering on sites close to Cardiff, Swansea, Llanelli, Tenby with swell upto 8ft accross the region over the next few days. This will mean hard exiting conditions on all sites accross the South wales region, the better areas would be in West Wales on the protected sites.

Swells are big throughout the area especially on beaches close to Cardiff and Swansea, there are also areas with off shore winds which could mean good surf in certain areas such as Rest Bay in Porthcawl, Llangenith, surf is good all over just need to check the wind conditions to choose the better beaches.
Cardiff, Swansea & South Wales Group Outdoor Activities
Were still in the Easter holidays and I have to admit its not been the warmest but it has been full of adventure and great conditions for Canyoning, Gorge Walking, Gorge Scrambling, Surfing and all out adventure on the rivers, mountains and the sea. We have family groups with us this weekend including Sean and the gang with us Gorge Walking, the guys are heading up to the mountains for a fun family day out.
We are also preparing for our Stag groups from Cardiff and Swansea, with a full programme for their Stag weekend adventures in South Wales.
