The river levels are huge and the prediction is only to get higher over the next few days. Stay out of the water and take a camera over the New Year period in the Cardiff, Swansea and South Wales area up to the mountains and take pictures of the beautiful waterfalls in full flow.

Absolutely no way there will be any coasteering in the Cardiff, Swansea and South Wales areas over the next few days, the winds are gale force and the swell is huge, as with the gorge walking and canyoning, take a picture of the swell booming over the pier heads and along the shoreline, should be epic.

Definitely a time to head for protected beaches such as Coney, Southerndown, Caswell, Langland all around the Cardiff, Swansea Coastlines. The swell is huge with massive onshore winds so need to get onto the protected areas to get a clean wave anywhere, just remember there is swell but there is also wind
Its nearly 2018 and I must say 2017 has been another fantastic year of adventure and activity here in South Wales, the Canyoning, Gorge Walking and Coasteering have been the big favourites as always, with a splash of surf and beach activities, we have welcomed Stag groups, Hen parties, scout groups, youth groups, corporates and individuals alike through out a very busy year. 2018 is looking to be shaping up the same with groups booking well in advance to join in the fun and games here in South Wales.
