Gorge Walking, Gorge Scrambling, Canyoning, Ghyll Scrambling near Cardiff, Swansea and South Wales: The water levels are low at the moment with the lack of rainfall over the past two weeks. Therefore the rivers are working but the levels are low so precautions should be made for the water flow, the Mellte rivers are the best options at the moment. There is no rainfall predicted over the next few days so the rivers will be low until next week when hopefully the rain returns.
Coasteering near Cardiff, Swansea in South Wales - The event is looking good again this week with hardly any swell, good tides and easterly winds so conditions are looking favorable for Coasteering. The Swell however is definitely picking up over the next few days into next week so keep an eye on the surf and swell forecast as well as the wave buoys in the channel. Could be quite unpredictable over the weekend into the following week with huge swells forecast.
Surfing and Surf Kayaking -As with the Coasteering the conditions for the Surf are varied over the next few days, we firstly have a very flat period with no swell predicted at all but then a huge swell forecast predicted for the weekend and into next week, so its all about watching the wave buoys and the wind at the moment. When it does come through the swell should be quite epic, so looking forward to Surfing next week.
