Gorge Walking, Gorge Scrambling, Canyoning near Cardiff, Swansea and South Wales: WHERE'S THE RAIN GONE! WE NEED MORE RAIN!, river levels are low, there's no rain, its really nice and sunny but we need more rain. The water falls are more trickles and the rivers are puddles, the ground is baked hard so the next down pour will bring the floods. All events in the rivers are doable, just remember the river is still only about 6 degrees and when you jump in your going to feel it, so wet suits, Buoyancy aids and helmets are essential as always. Beware the weekend warrior who goes to the rivers unprepared.
Coasteering near Cardiff, Swansea in South Wales - The weather is absolutely stunning and the swell is amazing at the moment, so certain protected areas will be good for coasteering but not the open areas such as Ogmore By Sea, Caswell and Muslade Bay. So be aware of the swell and the tides and make sure you head to the sheltered sites. Water temperature is about 12 degrees so full wetsuit, helmet and BA still required as always.
Surfing and Surf Kayaking - Well what do we say, the weather has been stunning and so has the surf, must have been 4 - 6 foot this morning and clean at Rest Bay. There is good weather and Swell forcast for the whole week so the best option is to get your baggies on, get your board and head for the beach, especially Rest Bay and Coney in Porthcawl and Caswell, Llangland and Llangenith in Swansea
Events and Activities - You name it we have it going on this weekend, Gorge Walking and Canyoning with Ian and the lads on there Stag Weekend in Cardiff. Surfing and Kayaking with Helen and the Girls on there Hen Weekend in Swansea. Were still checking on the Coasteering but everything s good at the moment.
