Gorge Walking, Gorge Scrambling, Canyoning near Cardiff, Swansea and South Wales: Yet another week with little rainfall, we must be the only people in the country praying for rain, the rivers are very low, soon we will not be able to jump off the cliffs into the plunge pools because the water level will be to low, never fear though there is rain due on Sunday this week and quite alot of it. So hopefully the rivers will start to swell and flow as they always do. Watch conditions on Monday as the water may bring alot of debris into the rivers with the land being so dry
Coasteering near Cardiff, Swansea in South Wales - The weather is good but again so is the swell so the coasteering is varied this week, there are patches when the swell drops that the activity could be good but has to match the high tide on the day. High tides are generally afternoons with early morning lows. Also watch out for the wind, this is definitely picking up through the week and will affect all coastal areas. The best days to look at are Friday and Wednesday when the swell and the wind are at their lowest.
Surfing and Surf Kayaking - Looking good again, we have had great weather and great surf, what more can you ask for. The swell is varied this week between 5 ft and 2 ft and will also be affected by the the wind conditions which are picking up through the week and especially on the weekend. There will however be some splendid days of sun and surf so get your wax ready.
Events and Activities - We have already been through a momentous week with Canyoning, Coasteering and Gorge Walking already under our belts. This weekend we will be taking Guy and the lads from the fire service on their Canyoning event, they are staying in Cardiff for a big group get together and Jollies. We will also be taking Karen and the ladies on their Hen Weekend Surfing and Kayaking, we will let you see all the pictures on our facebook site.
