Canyoning, Gorge Walking and Gorge Scrambling near Cardiff and Swansea in South Wales: All river based activities are acceptable over the next few days, the weather has brought bright sunshine but a lack of rain across the region meaning the rivers are running low, so kayaking will be hard to find with any real run but all gorge activities will be fine, but not as ferocious as the last couple of weeks. The waterfalls will be in full flow but not heavy so a more gentle event across the region. The water as always is cold so full neoprene protection will be required, helmets and buoyancy aids
Coasteering near Cardiff and in Swansea: Friday is looking a great day for coasteering across the whole of the South Wales region, the tides are early and the swell is 1 - 2 foot with good weather and light winds so perfect conditions for Friday. The rest of the week however is out of bounds, big swells and high winds will make the event to dangerous for all users in Cardiff and in Swansea.
Surfing and Surf Kayaking in the South Wales region: The swell is picking up all through the week especially at the weekend so there will be surf around its all about getting to the right area. The winds are picking up so conditions across South Wales will be variable, possible beaches to look at will be Coney in Porthcawl and Caswell in Swansea. Sea Kayaking will also depend on the winds looking for more sheltered areas.
Activities and Events for the next week: On Saturday we will be entertaining Kelly and the girls on their Hen Weekend in Cardiff, the girls will be with us on Saturday for a day on the Gorge and then back into Cardiff for their Hen Night on the town.
