Gorge Walking, Gorge Scrambling, Canyoning, Ghyll Scrambling near Cardiff, Swansea and South Wales: Conditions are looking very good at the moment, the rain has been falling and the rivers are running very well in fact perfect for Canyoning and Gorge Walking activites. There is a word of caution however, the rain is looming on the horizon and this may push the river levels over the acceptable levels. The Mellte river is especially volatile at the moment with the changing river levels so keep an eye on the weather.
Coasteering near Cardiff, Swansea in South Wales Im sorry to say this Coasteering is a no go again, the swell is huge and the surf is pounding against the cliff faces, so the event is definitely to dangerous at the moment. The best area to look for would be west wales where the coastline is far more protected.
Surfing, Surf Kayaking and Paddle Boarding The surf is huge at the moment but the weather is very much in effect, there is no shortage of swell. Its all about the wind at the moment and which direction it is coming from. Big Westerlies and South winds will blow out most of the beaches accept for Coney beach the nearest to Cardiff and Caswell nearest to Swansea, so surf is a no brainer, its where that is the all important decision.
Events and Activities - Its nearly Christmas and our year of adventure is coming to and end but we are still in full flow Sam and the lads are with us this weekend on the Stag Weekend of adventure and activity in Cardiff South Wales. The lads are staying in Cardiff City Centre for the weekend and heading up the Gorge hopefully on Saturday depending on the conditions. We will be watching the weather to make sure everything goes to plan.
