Gorge Walking, Gorge Scrambling, Canyoning near Cardiff, Swansea and South Wales: The rivers are flowing freely at the moment with days on and off of rainfall across the region, the waterfalls are in full flow and the river levels are perfect for all Gorge and Canyoning Activities. The Mellte River and Sychryd Rivers are at there best level for the event and with continued waterflow and rainfall in acceptable measures.
Coasteering near Cardiff, Swansea in South Wales - again these events are looking very suspect, there are big winds forecast throughout the week making coasteering hazardous in all regions accross the area, including Cardiff, Porthcawl and Swansea. The tides are also very high at the moment up to 10 meters making the conditions even more susceptible to the wind and the swell.
Surfing and Surf Kayaking again looks hit and miss across the region of South Wales especially around Cardiff and Swansea area's, there is a swell around at the moment but alot of the water movement is due to low pressure wind movement, therefore the waves will be messy and broken and affected by the force of the wind. The tides are also very big up to 10 meters which will effect the surf conditions hugely with the best times being 3 hours after the low tide on Rest Bay, Coney, Caswell, Langland and Llangenith.
The conditions are perfect this weekend for Canyoning and Gorge Walking andwe have groups from all over the country in the mountains with us, we have our usual stag groups coming from over the bridge with Philip, Chris, Nilesh and Andy on there Stag Weekends in Cardiff enjoying the Canyoning and Gorge Walking area's for the day. We also have Richie and the guys from the TA with us all weekend Canyoning and on there Beach Day Activity Event.
