Gorge Walking, Gorge Scrambling, Canyoning, Ghyll Scrambling near Cardiff, Swansea and South Wales: The flow of the rivers this week has been varried through out the South Wales region with dry spells and then haevy rain on the Thursday and Friday. This could raise unpredictable river levels, the land is quite hard and baked and the rainfall is in short and heavy periods, this could bring alot of debris and uncertainty into the Gorge regions. Be carefull if Canyoning and Gorge Walking over the next few days, watch out for the rainfall and the increased debris in the rivers.
Coasteering near Cardiff, Swansea in South Wales - Coasteering is looking quite good this week, the swell is down and the tides are through the mornings, the only problem may be the wind which is quite high in patches through out the week, this could cause adverse conditions is some areas, especially on the Westerly facing cliff faces.
Surfing and Surf Kayaking - The surf is definately low over the next few days, last week we had some great surf all over the region especially Porthcawl and Swansea. The only beaches possibly working will be the more exposed areas such as Rest Bay and Llangenith. This will also depend on the state of the tide, very much a time for the incoming tidal conditions.
Events and Activities - We are still in full flow with the summer hoilday events, this week we have been surfing, kayaking and Coasteering and the weekend brings the usual mix of Stag groups from Cardiff and Swansea. We also have our beach day and rafting event on Saturday with Justin and the lads on a big Stag weekend in Cardiff.
