Gorge Walking, Gorge Scrambling, Canyoning, Ghyll Scrambling near Cardiff, Swansea and South Wales: The rivers are in perfect flow at the moment at .40 meters on the river level monitors, this is exceptional Canyoning and Gorge Walking conditions. The waterfalls will be spectacular and the plunge pools full of water, yes it will be cold but its always cold so as we say man up and dive in. The forecast however is changing over the next few days with heavy rain due to come in, this will affect the area drastically as the land is still super saturated. So watching the rainfall radar is essential and checking the weather conditions on a daily if not hourly basis.
Coasteering near Cardiff, Swansea in South Wales Strong winds, big swells, huge surf, surging waves, sounds familiar? well this had been the norm for the past few weeks, great for surfing but definitely not for Coasteering its just to rough to get on the cliffs at the moment. The only possibility would be the protected areas in West Wales at blue pool and around St Davids.
Surfing, Surf Kayaking, Beach Activities and Paddle Boarding Surf and swell are big again, we have had storm force winds in the Atlantic Ocean sending big swells to our welsh shores, the winds have been high as well so has made some beaches dumpy and messy. All regions should have surf though near to Cardiff and in Swansea, will also depend on the tide though, best on the incoming in most regions.
