Gorge Walking, Gorge Scrambling, Canyoning, Ghyll Scrambling activities near Cardiff, Swansea and South Wales: Surprisingly the rainfall has been low over the last few days and the river levels are dropping accordingly, the ground is still full of water which is making its way into the watercourse but the river levels are good for all Gorge Walking and Canyoning activities. The near future also looks dry so the river should be dropping throughout the week but the levels will still be acceptable for all gorge activities in the Sychryd and Mellte rivers.
Coasteering activity near Cardiff, Swansea in South Wales Coasteering is looking good at the beginning of next week especially Monday and Tuesday. The swell is to big on the weekend but is dying on Monday and Tuesday, the wind is also looking manageable so altogether good conditions for the beginning of next week. as always the activity should be conducted on the high tide levels especially on sites close to Cardiff and Swansea.
Surfing, Surf Kayaking, Beach Activities and Paddle Boarding Surf swell is looking good for the weekend a good 3 - 5 foot in height. The wind is looking about 2 - 4 or 10 - 20 mph on a south westerly direction. The better beaches should be Rest Bay in Porthcawl, Llantwit Major close to Cardiff and Llangenith in Swansea. As always the swell should be better on the incoming tides so check local tidal conditions.
