Gorge Walking, Gorge Scrambling, Canyoning, Ghyll Scrambling activities near Cardiff, Swansea and South Wales: All gorge related activities are looking perfect for the next few days, the rain has been on and off through the week and the land is still saturated giving a continuous flow of water into the rivers. The levels are .4 at the moment which is perfect for the Sychryd and the Mellte rivers. The water is cold but the land temperature is heating up over the next few days feeling more like spring. So all in all should be a great time to get into the mountains for the gorge walking and canyoning activities.
Coasteering activity near Cardiff, Swansea in South Wales I cant believe I'm saying this but Coasteering is looking good accross the region for the next few days. The wind is slight and the swell is low , the tide however is huge over the next couple of days, we have a pedigree tide which is the highest of the year so far, up to 10.9 meters in Porthcawl. So the tidal conditions are essential to know over the next few days. In all though the conditions are looking good, the water temperature is cold though so wetsuits, gloves and hoods will be required.
Surfing, Surf Kayaking, Beach Activities and Paddle Boarding The surf is small but clean this week ahead which is perfect for learners, paddle boarding and surf kayaking. The swell is forecast to be a maximum of 1 meter over the next few days. The tide is huge though so need to make sure your out of the water in most places on the high tide.
