EXPECTED RIVER LEVEL OVER NEXT 72 HOURS - .31 - .25 meters
PREDICTED 72 REPORT
Storm Callum definitely left its mark last week, the rivers were absolutely bouncing as we say. Levels went up to 2 meters on the mellte and held over 1.5 meters for 3 days, which I have never seen before. We had to cancel all our events for Friday and Saturday in the rivers as they were far to high but fantastic to witness. This week is looking alot calmer, the rain has held off and the rivers are flowing perfectly especially with the water saturated into the land flowing into the rivers. Levels are .31 meters at the moment which is perfect for Gorge Walking, Gorge scrambling and Canyoning and looks to be good for the next few days. There is no predicted rainfall so the rivers should be at the perfect levels for the events.
On a cautionary note the rivers and Canyoning areas have changed drastically after the storms with debris from rock and tree fall predominate through out the area, please take caution when checking the sites for new debris in and around the rivers
