The rivers are low at the moment but still good for all gorge walking, canyoning and gore scrambling events, sites close to Cardiff, Swansea, Brecon Beacons will be the best especially in the pontnedffechan area of the brecons. The water temperature is still very cold though so wear the appropriate personal protective clothing.

Not good at all for the surfing masses, 0 - 2ft weak waves coming up the channel the only chance may be on the incoming tide on the push 3 hours after the low, better for paddle boarding in the Knap in Barry , Newton bay Porthcawl
