Coasteering near Cardiff, Swansea in South Wales All Im going to say is Sunday 28th February 2016, this is the day that could be the day for coasteering is South Wales. The swell will be minimal the wind is low and the tide is right in the morning so everything is looking good for coasteering close to Cardiff and in Swansea for Sunday. The weather is cold and the water is cold so again the correct thermal protection is essential. Wetsuits, gloves, hoods, BA's, helmets all essential gear for the activity.
Surfing, Surf Kayaking, Beach Activities and Paddle Boarding Surf in the local South Wales area is looking quite good over the next few days, dropping off on Sunday and then picking back up over the next week. Local beaches to Cardiff and Swansea including Rest Bay, Coney Beach, Caswell bay and Llangenith all should be working well. The tides are big so need to think of the rule of twelfths and use the incoming and dropping tides to assist the surf.
