There is medium rain over the next few days and river levels may rise and may cause different issues for activities especially on the Canyoning event days. Coasteering Cardiff, Swansea, Porthcawl, South Wales predicted weekly report 09th January 2026 to 15th January 2026 Coasteering conditions will be un-suitable today and for the next day after in certain areas. The winds will be medium - high at times this will cause moderate to high seas, there will also be periods of offshore winds and choppier sea conditions. Later in the week towards the weekend the conditions will be suitable and then suitable and the swell and the wind will be medium in the area. Caution must be taken and tides, winds, swells, sea conditions checked daily. There will be no chance of coasteering later in the week if the swell stays the same.
