Gorge Walking, Gorge Scrambling, Canyoning South Wales, Cardiff, Swansea, Brecon Beacons Conditions Report 27.02.202 - River levels are high at the moment but not super high on .52 meters which means all gorge walking, gorge scrambling and Canyoning events will be suitable for the next day. The rain will come in for the next few days and the river levels are already high and the land saturated. Any extra rain will increase the levels of the rivers rapidly. This may cause the initial cancellation of the Canyoning and swift water on the gorge. We predict the canyoning will be unsuitable on the weekend but should still be ok for gorge walking and gorge scrambling. The levels will have to be monitored on a daily basis.

High winds swirling from all directions predominately from the West and big swells and sea surges means the conditions will be very volatile on the coast and across the region. The only option may be to go to West Wales and go to protected areas less open to the sea conditions facing Southerly.

Gorge walking, Gorge Scrambling, Canyoning and Coasteering Cardiff, Swansea, South Wales report update 29.02.2020 - Very heavy rain over the last 24 hours. Rivers were up to 1.5 meters last night and now down to 1.1 meters. Canyoning is definitely unsuitable with the water levels far to high for the event to be safe. Gorge walking and gorge scrambling will become swift water events with the height of the water and in water debris will be of high concern especially strainers in the river. Coasteering is definitely out with very stormy seas and high winds causing unsuitable conditions across the South wales region.
