Thursday has the highest winds and more unsettled conditions but changing to drier and clearer through next week with most days having light winds and sunny skies. GORGE WALKING, CANYONING, GORGE SCRAMBLING CARDIFF AND SWANSEA PREDICTED REPORT - Conditions are perfect this week for or gorge activities including gorge walking, gorge scrambling and canyoning in the rivers close to Cardiff, Swansea, Porthcawl. Bridgend in the Brecon Beacons. At the moment the river levels are on .46 meters so on the upper region for the activity, the rain will hold off now for the next few days and bring the rivers down to .35 - .3 meters which would give a perfect level across the region. All days through the week are looking good especially the weekend with good river flow and dry clear weather. As always the rivers are cold therefore appropriate aquatic personal protective equipment must be worn including wetsuits, helmets, buoyancy aids and good running trainers, walking boots or wellington boots.
WIND - Highest winds this week will be on Thursday getting up to 26 mph Westerly. Wind should drop off for the rest of the week and dropping low through the next few days. Sunday, Monday and Tuesday may get up into double figures with possible 15mph North Westerly on Monday. The rest of the week will be low winds from differing directions East and West.
SEA STATE and SWELL - The roughest day will be Thursday with strong Westerly winds in the channel. Wind will be dropping and the swell less through the week so calm clear seas predicted for the coming days.

COASTEERING CARDIFF, SWANSEA, PORTHCAWL, CARMARTHEN PREDICTED WEEKLY REPORT - Actually looking good for coasteering for the up coming week. Poor conditions on Thursday with high Westerly winds and bigger swells carrying through until Saturday. Swell and wind will drop to give calm, clear, still seas across South Wales including sites close to Cardiff, Barry, Swansea, Porthcawl and Camarthen. Sunday through to Wednesday looking very good with low swell and light winds. Tuesday and Wednesday are looking the best days for Coasteering from Cardiff Bay to Tenby.

The rivers are flowing and the weather in perfect for all activities. Sea temperatures are at their highest and the all round water levels and conditions are excellent for all events. Surf may get lower and swells less but waves available on the weekend. We have a big weekend ahead with Luke and Ben bringing the lads for Canyoning on Saturday on their Stag weekend in Cardiff. The waterfalls are in full flow and the air temperature is perfect. The coasteering conditions are also perfect at the moment, the wind is slight and the swell is small. The water temperature is up to its maximum and the sea state is still and calm especially for Tuesday this week.
