GORGE WALKING, CANYONING, GORGE SCRAMBLING CARDIFF AND SWANSEA PREDICTED REPORT - Again this week rivers are low as you would expect in the summer months, we have had rain this week which has helped the flow in the waterfalls. Still dry conditions but raining into next week so all gorge walking, gorge scrambling and Canyoning activities are acceptable for the next few days. Must however again take high pre-caution for debris in the rivers including rocks, landslides, tree's, logs etc. River temperatures are still cold so still the possibility of cold water shock, still must wear full wet suits to protect from the cold water.

WIND - Moderate winds for the next few days from all directions, Thursday will be the lightest day with 4mph, then mainly picking up to mid teens through the next few days. The big change will be on Wednesday next week when the winds will pick up to 25mph Westerlies blowing up through the channel.
SEA STATE and SWELL - Moderate to calmer conditions for most of the next few days especially Thursday and Friday. Big change will be on Wednesday next week with big Westerly winds chopping up the waters in the Channel. Swell is also big on that day upto 5 feet on the wave buoys predicted. Swell is generally around 3 - 4 feet for most of the week with 5 feet predicted on Monday and Wednesday next week.

COASTEERING CARDIFF, SWANSEA, PORTHCAWL, CARMARTHEN PREDICTED WEEKLY REPORT - Possibly one day this week looking good for coasteering in the South Wales, Cardiff and Swansea areas. Friday is looking the better conditions with 10 mph South Easterly winds and 1 foot swell predicted so perfect for the coasteering areas. The rest of the week looks to have to much swell with 3 - 5 foot swell predicted on most other days. Tides will also be a huge factor on the event with all coasteering run around the high tide in most areas along the coast.
OUTDOOR ADVENTURE ACTIVITIES CARDIFF, SWANSEA, PORTHCAWL, BRECON BEACONS, SOUTH WALES REPORT SUMMARY - This week we have been hosting the guys and gals from the Lakes in Yoo. Every year the gang come along to join us gorge walking, canyoning, coasteering, gorge scrambling, climbing, white water rafting and surfing. It really is a packed week of adventure activities. Tomorrow we will be taking them on the Canyon, they are all competent on the gorge walking areas, so they are now heading for the higher level of the Canyon to enjoy the beautiful scenery and great adventure the mountains and waterfalls has to offer.
OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES CONDITIONS UPDATE 07.08.2019 - Conditions have definitely changed this week, heavy rain, strong winds, stormy conditions throughout the region. A big low pressure has hit the area bringing rain and wind. There will be no coasteering for the next few days, the rivers for the gorge walking, gorge scrambling and Canyoning will be high with the possibility of debris in the rivers due to the backed dry land taking on water. Friday and the weekend are the worst hit with gale force wind and torrential rain. We shall try and keep updating on a daily basis due to the adverse conditions and weather.
