August has been a complete wash out for your average tourist in the UK, the rain has fell constantly and the temperature has been like the middle of November. The summers seem to be getting shorter and shorter and the winters longer.
Thats great news for us here in South Wales especially Cardiff and Swansea, the bad weather has bought the best conditions possible for Gorge Walking and Canyoning, the rivers are flowing at a fantastic rate, this means the waterfalls are in full flow and the rivers are never better for us Gorge Scrambling folk.
Also the bad weather has bought Great Surf to the region places like Rest Bay in Porthcawl and Llengenith in Swansea have had the best of the conditions, 2/3/4/5 foot swells coming through constantly and the water temperature is 18 degree's it really dosen't get any better. As for the coasteering that has been truly amazing with the caves and jumps coming alive with the summer swells
Our Cardiff Activities Stag Groups, Youth Groups, Families and individuals alike have been having a ball while everyone else has been sulking inside, So bring on the weather and all the fun and Activity it brings to our shores.
