The river levels have been high over the last few days, the ground is still saturated and the rain has fallen on and off through the week in Cardiff, Swansea, Neath, Newport, Bridgend. Conditions for gorge walking, gorge scrambling, ghyll scrambling and Canyoning are changeable with river levels are between .85 meters and 1.5 meters which is on the high levelfor gorge walking and gorge scrambling but definately not good for canyoning on the higher region which can pick up the faster flow with the rainfall. So be aware and possibly head for the gorge for the safer option even then if the river levels are too high for your ability do not enter the water, instead take a camera and get some good safe pictures of the falls.

Cardiff, Swansea & South Wales Group Outdoor Activities
Have to mention the gang last week who were canyoning with us in the Brecon Beacons, Mohit and the gang were fantastic in truly extreme conditions, the rivers were in full flow with the rapids flying and the waterfalls bouncing, our group battled on into a fantastic event with big scambles, climbs, rapids, thrills and spills. This week we have Ben and the lads on their Stag weekend in Cardiff, the rivers are still high so we are definitely in for some fun and games.
